yeah… finally the long awaited trip to batam =D
the night before had went to the CNS finale night… it was well-organised and the freshies looked tired but happy =)… reached home about 12 liao, then slept at bout 2 as quite excited… the next day woke up at 6.30 to go harbourfront… rong was super late… she reached at 9.17 when the gates closes at 9.20.. we rushed excitedly and frantically thru the immigration and to the ship..
on the ship, we had to stick the sticker the tour agency gave to us… it was very wierd and amusing, cos we r the onli ones on the ship to stick tat sticker and it made us feel like we’re newbies…

read the sunday times, then reach the batam ferry terminal..
finally reach the terminal le
the guide looked trustworthy and we were glad =) it was a super mini tour group, with 3 clique… the Sg pple, the Pinoys and the American couple… we actually din tok at all amazingly.. i initially wanted to polish my tagalog with the pinoys, but the tour was just too exciting.. went to bridge which connects batam with an island (cant remember)
one of the pictures show a boat; a man rowing and a lady sitting inside.. so ancient…

the we went to temple… the "biggest" in SE asia.. the pple there very pious and contented… there is a kid hugging onto the flag post
then on our way to lunch, saw trails of cars with banners.. dunno wat izit for also.. pls enlighten me if u noe…
then went to lunch at 933 seafood… the food was good and there were crab, prawns, shells, squids, fish, etc… it was sumptuous… luckily we were nt at the table with singaporeans, if nt all the food gone in jiffy le… the american couple onli take a little bit of the vege… they din take the seafood wor… then they ordered coke and they din drink.. (cos they gave some indo-cola, not coca-cola) so fussy… the pinoys, like us ordered coconuts.. pinoys like to eat shells… me and ed onli eat a few… rong din eat at all… ed ate a lot of crab (expected) =P….
then went do some shopping… bought pocari sweat (packet one) and some local sweets(dol dol)… then went tua pek kong temple… and went see "cultural" show… it was wierd.. it was just a small stage.. motocycles can be seen at the back.. onli the out tour group, about 10 like tat watching.. they ate fire, charcoal, glass and danced, jumped thru fire rings… i din like it…

then went to do massage.. it’s clean massage… the tour guide assured us… as my massage came late so i ended late.. rong and ed waited with the tour guide and they actually tot i ordered some extras.. haha…. then cross over road to shopping mall… brought my fav, avogado juice with an ice cream on top, with chocolate syrup!! one wasnt enuff for me, but we had to leave for the ferry le..
reached the ferry there very tired le… the ferry terminal like greenridge shopping centre like tat… the immigration very small.. it’s a different one from the one we arrive… on the bpat we so tired after we took this one we fell asleep le..
had dinner at banquet at vivocity and tat’s the end of batam trip… =)
